Azita Roshani is a GIS Specialist and Cartographer working for the Nehalem Basin Partnership, an organization that stewards the Upper and Lower Nehalem watersheds for the benefit of native Coho salmon. She tutors students in the GIS certificate program at Portland Community College and has a B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife Science from Oregon State University. Azita uses GIS to combine her passions for nature conservation, sustainability, science communication, and art. She draws on her experience in wildlife and endangered species field research and consulting to direct and contribute to GIS projects.
